Spartech introduces new R105 soft-touch thermoformable sheet

Spartech, which offers specialised solutions for engineered materials, has introduced a new sheet grade in its Royalite family.

Royalite® R105 is a soft vinyl foam laminated FR PVC/Acrylic thermoformable sheet that offers benefits such as low weight & fire protection. According to Spartech, Royalite R105 sheets are primarily used in aircraft interiors such as the aircraft cabin, cockpit and seat components. R105 Soft Touch is a luxury option with a scratch resistant surface, an elegant, timeless look and available in a range of colours.

The product offers a leather look and has been certified to meet all the necessary regulations for use in aircraft interiors.

The sheet is available in thicknesses from 0.047″ to 0.375″ and is resistant to staining, discoloration and cracking, also meeting heat deflection temperature requirements.

Spartech exhibited the Soft-Touch material at AIX 2024 in Hamburg in collaboration with ASP-Plastics.
